Fun in the sun
What an awesome weekend. Played tennis on Friday after work. Woke up on Saturday with no power. Called National Grid, power was restored in about 45 minutes. We left shortly after to go shopping, and noticed that the power crews were busy replacing a street light/power line pole down the street that had somehow splintered apart about 6 feet off the ground.
Went shopping, then golfed with and played tennis with Neil in the afternoon. There was absolutely no one on the entire course, which really failed to make any sense at all. On Sunday, I went for a run, hit the weight room, then played tennis in the evening with Emily for almost 3 hours.
Got up today, chilled out and watched some BSG, then played some more tennis with Emily. Then met up with Neil to play another round of golf and was pleasantly surprised that Aaron and Lisa showed up too.
The crazy thing was that the forecast kept predicting rain all weekend, but all we got was a little bit on Saturday evening. We had absolutely gorgeous weather since Friday, and I’ve definitely been making the most of it.
I don’t want to go back to work. I want to play more tennis, golf more, go hiking, and go to a water park.
And, oh yeah, Jon and Joan had their baby on Saturday.

Oh my god! I didn’t even know Joan was pregnant! Awww, they make such a cute family – could you please pass on my congratulations (if they remember me, it’s been a while!)
Sounds like you’re going to have a very busy summer with tennis and golfing! Are you planning on doing any diving or kayaking too?
